The Nappy-Free Journey #1

"She should be doing it by now!".....
"Yes, but she isn't!"

I am getting a little pissed at people telling me how to bring my daughter up.  Little girl is 2.5 years old, and "should" be nappy free.  But who sets the guidelines for when an individual child is ready to leave the nappies behind?  Is it really a case of 'one size fits all'?
The health visitor along with other nosy busy bodies well meaning folk, all tell me the same thing.  With Big Boy, I never worried.  With Big Boy, I didn't have the pressure to 'get it right'.  With Big Boy, I was allowed to say "I've never done it before".

Little Girl is a law unto herself, she is intelligent but simply isn't ready to say goodbye to nappies.  Should I force the issue?  Should I make her fear the toilet?  Should I make her uncomfortable, just because some 'one size fits all' health professional says she should be nappy-free?

I'm digging in my heels.  The 'OSFA' health professional (and all the nosy busy bodies well meaning folk) can piss off and terrorize someone else..  We are on a toddler-led nappy-free journey and I won't have anyone telling me otherwise because one size certainly does not fit all....
